High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. High Cholesterol at Applebee's

Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.

I came here around 5pm and the place seemed pretty crowded. They were keeping everyone that came in all cluttered up in the corner. I asked the waitress if we could be seated at a different table and she was more than happy to help us out with that. We got all appetizers this time and unfortunately the wait was a little longer than anticipated. The food we got was actually cooked to perfection. I was very satisfied with the results. Overall. Yes, I will definitely continue making Applebee's a regular place to go. Something that I hope does improve is the speed of the service. Once that is taken care of, I can guarantee that Applebee's will be my to go to spot.

Had the new pork sandwich. There was about a tablespoon of "pulled pork" on the sandwich. The sandwich was extra greasy and had no sauce. The fries were cold and stale. Service was okay but absolutely nothing to write about. I was extremely disappointed.

The French onion soup I had was good & full of flavor, but compared to the rib-eye steak which I ordered medium rare was disappointing, it came medium well. My lady had her hamburger & suggested me to overlook the issue, but to people who enjoys their steak on the rare side, it could be difficult like chewing on rubber, besides I was paying for a rib-eye. My steak was sent back and came the manager to ensure me that the steak was cooked right to my order, and he personally had monitored the temperature for doneness, but a new piece would be cooked to my liking to ensure my satisfaction. Arrived later a medium rare steak was served but with the baked potato which I ordered without cheese, it was loaded with the yellow flakes, I scraped the cheese off & consumed my dinner. Moments later, our server showed up & asked us to settle the bill because her shift was over, no problem but surely was not a pleasant dinning experience at this joint while I'd had experienced better at other Applebee's.

No TV service!!! Then the manager comes out with a smile on his face! What! He should have come out worries and handing out discounts and free appetizers!

Went to Applebee's today. Sat at a booth... after I wiped the salt and crumbs off the cushion. The space between the cushion and the back of the booth was full of salt, crumbs, and small bits of food. Gross. I opened my greasy menu and more crumbs and an actual hair. Wow. Right about then, I should have left. If it was just my daughter and I, we would have. There is a strange electronic device at the table-all of the tables in fact. I'm not sure exactly what it's purpose was. It had a touch screen and the type of black finish that shows everything splashed on it. It was kind of like having a large, dirty community cell phone at our table. Our other diner mentioned her food wasn't hot, my daughter's macaroni had obviously been sitting a while, I just ate my salad-and vowed not to return. For their prices, they should be very clean. Food should be very hot-and lose the self service nasty electronic waiter.

Came in for lunch, ordered the ribs, 3 little ribs served on a small pan, kinda pan kids you in their easy bake oven, with rubbery fries, when I asked where my slaw was as stated in menu, the server said it doesn't come with the plate anymore, that they had new menus, real shitty experience, won't be coming back...

We had family lunch here. When we first went in, it was super busy. We ordered fairly simple, hamburgers, specials and kids chicken strips meal. We waited 45 minutes then the waiter came out and said they were out of chicken strips and what would we like for a replacement. We ask him about the rest of the meal and they would start the kids meal with our new selection. Of course we were happy with our food getting cold. We had noticed and spoke with a well dressed man walking around. We stopped him and explained what had just happened. He was very pleasant and said he would take care of it. Within a minute the manager, waiter and a helper with our food. The kids meal was boneless chicken with extras. The manager came back many times. He comped us the kids meal and free deserts for all. This was excellent service from the manager and the food was great. I would like to give the manager kudos for making the meal enjoyable. Thia was in Twin Falls, ID.

I'm a regular customer here and I love it. They always have good service and good food. The wonton tacos are my favorite. And during happy hour when everything is half priced is the best. You get a lot of food for very little money. Love love love this place

Okay, our food wasn't perfect, but that is when a restaurant either shines or fades. This Applebee's does what's right and they certainly did with us! We here two nights in a row while visiting Twin Falls, and I was more than impressed both times. Will definitely be back!

After ordering the Thai Chicken salad, I expected what I would consider a reasonably sized salad since it was, you know, a main course salad. I got what amounted to a side salad. I mentioned this to the server and she responded with, "our portion sizes changed about a month ago." Ok, great. What the heck does that even mean? Is that an admission that the picture on the menu is misleading? I thought about carrying it further, but our server was a little on the intense side and I decided to drop it. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, just not great.

Food was good. No complaints. My waitress was very unwelcoming though. She didn't even say hello, introduce herself, or ask how our day was going. Plus she brought us our check while we were still eating our food. I work in a restaurant back at home so Needless to say I was very unimpressed with the service.

Applebee's is consistent, not great or outstanding but it is good. The service is always up to par. It is very similar to Chili's which I tend to lean towards more but Applebee's is still decent.

What a great place! Can't believe how outstanding the service and food was. I eat at a lot of Applebee's and this one is a step above! Our server was Lindsay and she went above and beyond. She did something very few servers do anymore treated my young kids like actual people! From the time we entered until we left we were treated great. The management and staff here make the stop worth it!
